Meanwhile, the international non-governmental organizations (NGOs), which are mainly established in cooperation with the directors, personnel and the owners of the news agencies, are making efforts to take long steps in protecting the rights of journalists.<br /> Given that evaluating the nature and function of the international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) which are active in protecting journalists’ rights, not only would help to reform those institutions but it may pave the way for supporting and strengthening these organizations; in this contribution an effort has been made to evaluate nature and function of International Committee to Protect Journalists. امروزه با درک صحیح از اهمیت فعالیت‌های روزنامه‌نگاران و با اعتقاد به نقش این گروه در تأمین حق آزادی بیان، تدابیر و اقداماتی برای حمایت از روزنامه‌نگاران در سطوح مختلف(بین‌المللی، منطقه‌ای و ملی) پیش‌بینی شده است. در این میان سازمان‌های بین‌المللی غیردولتی که عمدتاً با همکاری و مشارکت مدیران، کارکنان و مالکان مؤسسات خبری تشکیل شده، تلاش دارند تا در مسیر حمایت از روزنامه‌نگاران گام‌های بلندی بردارند. نظر به اینکه ارزیابی ماهیت و عملکرد سازمان‌های بین‌المللی غیردولتی فعال در زمینه حمایت از روزنامه‌نگاران علاوه بر کمک به اصلاح نهادهای مذکور، می‌تواند زمینه حمایت و تقویت این سازمان‌ها را فراهم نماید؛ در نوشتار حاضر تلاش شده تا عملکرد و ماهیت کمیته بین‌المللی حمایت از روزنامه‌نگاران، ارزیابی گردد. https://www.mjourcom.ir/article_119719_f85cee66e35b15646e29c7e27d166a8d.pdf
