Law means “a set of principles, rules, acts, regulations and jurisprudence that is governing over specific State on determined time” and has triplet relationship with art; in which, one of them is “Art law or Artistic law” and art like other phenomenon is regarded as law and some legal rules are governing over art. Thus, the first step in the way of studying art law or artworks is recognizing topic; in which, in case of having incorrect understanding, the path of selecting pattern of art law is deviated and due to similarity of art and artworks to other legal topics, it may extension the unsuitable legal frames of artistic jobs and this profession is faced with several dangers. The present article deals with recognizing art and artworks and in short form, the concept and meaning of culture, art, artworks, items of artworks (subject, form and content), division of arts including: fine arts and mechanical arts are studied and this issue is described from viewpoint of bilateral relationship of art with person and society.
