Studies on media history, in any kind and form, modern or traditional ones, have shown Somehow its ability for affect any move or social change. In this study we are to examine media structural and content requirements, in preparing and also actually in accurence in the modern Islamic civilization vision. Here the main question is which features structurally and in content are requaiered for the media contribution about the realization of modern Islamic civilization? It is clear the type and function of the media on a local scale, is deferent with those on a national one and specially on civilization scale. So it is expected that the type and functions of media on the scale of modern Islamic civilization sould be suitable for this new sphere. The concept of "civilizational media," on the other hand, and the explanation of its features, such as having a civilization approach, moving along the path of unity while multiplicity, religious unity, justice, progressivity, negation of domination, etc…, as well as the concept of "Assabiya" based on features such as convergence, assistance, and the affiliation of the mass media on the principles of belief, rather than the group, national, regional, relative, tribal, and ethnic interests are the most important findings of the article. The paper used documentary method to collect data, as well as analytical-descriptive approach for analyzing them.
