Objective: This research aims to investigate the relationship between social media and improving administrative health. The present study is of applied purpose, descriptive-correlational method, and survey type in terms of data collection.
Methods The statistical population of the study included all managers and senior experts working in Tehran Municipality as well as university professors and researchers, 450 people were identified. The sampling method was simple random sampling, which selected 207 people based on the Cochran formula. The data collection method was a survey method using the social media questionnaire by Jahanbani (2018) and the administrative health questionnaire by Hoy and Feldman (1996). The collected data were analyzed in Spss-26 software using the correlation and multiple regression methods..
Results: The collected data were analyzed using the Spss-26 software using multiple regression. The results showed that the significance level for the variable components of social media (amount of use, type of use, and level of trust) was less than 0.05.
Conclusions: Results The results of Spearman correlation showed that all numbers are between zero and one and the significance level of the correlation coefficients is less than 0.05. As a result, the null hypothesis is rejected and the opposite hypothesis is confirmed, indicating that there is a significant correlation between all research variables. Also, the results of multiple regression showed that the significance level for the components of the social media variable (amount of use, type of use, and level of trust) is less than 0.05, so with 95% confidence, the presence of these three independent variables is significant for predicting the promotion of administrative health.for years, the only way to combat corruption was through coercive actions and the actions of supervisory bodies. Now, with the development of information infrastructure and the systematic implementation of most affairs, it must be accepted that the most effective method for improving administrative health is transparency and intelligence. Transparency with citizens and other stakeholders leads to the creation of public oversight, and decision-makers and senior managers see themselves exposed to the judgment of the real owners of the city, namely the citizens present; therefore, they examine issues more carefully and with more obsession. In addition, the accumulation of urban data in a collection called the Transparency Website creates a valuable resource for urban researchers who can review and analyze various data to produce pure and targeted reports to improve processes and decisions made and contribute effectively to city management. It is perhaps noteworthy that many of the issues that are now transparently available to citizens on the Transparency Website were not previously even available to city managers in an integrated manner, and this is another effect of transparency.
