The journal of News Science is an open-access peer-reviewed quarterly journal in Persian (with English abstracts and bibliographies) devoted to the fields of journalism, published by Dr. Abbas Asadi, Faculty member of Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU). It is scientifically sponsored by the Iranian Political Sociology Association, the Scientific Association of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, and Allameh Tabataba'i University. It is an interdisciplinary journal devoted to the publication of original articles, review articles, etc., considering the research ethics and academic rules and regulations. This double-blind peer-reviewed journal publishes original articles on the history of journalism, media, and mass communication in Iran and internationally. The journal also features historiographical and methodological essays, book reviews, and digital media reviews. It publishes articles on a broad range of perspectives relating to journalism research, practice, and education.
