One of the main and effective drivers in Iran's elections is social networks. The extent and importance of this influence in the current environment has caused concern about the future of this influence on the elections. Therefore, futurism and the study of scenarios of the impact of social networks in the Iranian elections is the main purpose of this study.
The present study seeks to answer the question: What are the uncertainties of the role of social networks in the upcoming elections? And based on these uncertainties, what scenarios can be imagined for the impact of social networks for the upcoming elections?
To answer this question, the scenario writing method has been used with the approach of critical uncertainties.In this study, after identifying the uncertainties based on the opinions of experts on the interaction of 2 uncertainties, 4 scenarios under the title of universal acceptance of the electoral body and its results, increasing electoral participation, turning away from elections and reducing electoral participation and distorting the socialization process. Elections and reduced acceptance of the results presented.
