Abstract
The purpose of this research is to describe and explain how metaverse events are represented on Twitter from a discourse point of view. For this purpose, the current research analyzes metaverse news that is reported on Twitter, in order to determine the different angles of this representation. In this regard, we used critical discourse analysis with Foucault's approach. Although it is difficult to separate theory and method in Foucault's works; But the power-knowledge-discourse triangle, which is Foucault's main methodological theme, became the basis of the research method.
